To achieve a more accurate rating for an employee, companies must rate their employees more frequently. There’s no denying that a larger sample size of measurement over a date range leads to a more accurate measurement. By increasing the number of ratings for an employee, Quix will help companies be able to – for once – have an accurate measure of an employee’s performance. All employees rate themselves at whatever frequency they desire, up to twice daily. Similarly all managers will be able to rate their staff at their own desired frequency, also up to twice daily. Each rating will be on a 1-10 scale and can optionally include a comment including an attachment and/or emoji. The rating will purely be an overall assessment of the employee’s performance at that moment. An employee or manager’s rating experience should take a maximum of 2 minutes, creating a qualitative continuous performance environment that also creates a measurable data set that gets continuously stronger each day. The mobile app will have some additional capability, such as viewing historical ratings, rolling averages over various periods of time as well as charts, but the true objective is to keep the employee and manager experience brief enough to keep them frequently rating.
